one show down, 2 more to go. first set was kinda rough but the second was great. can’t wait till friday. i think i got over my fear of singing so that is good. never figured that i would be able to play guitar and sing at the same time. it’s good to proove yourself wrong.

today is a different day. i’m in a different frame of mind than i was. still confused in what i really want. i think the main thing is i want to be more open with people, especially girls. i’m tired of being the loner at home doing nothing, or the quiet guy in the corner. i want to be out front and interacting with people. i’m tired of being alone while everyone around me is full of joy and love.

like i said before, i just want to play music really loud. it’s my drug and i can’t get enough of it. i want to be in a stoner rock band but not be a stoner. i don’t know if it will ever happen, but i want to tour the world and play a show almost every night i’m away from home. i got a little taste of it and now i want more. get me away from this crazy city and get me to happiness.

just got back from band practice. it’s the first one we’ve done with vocals and at full volume. god damn i forgot how good of a band we are. or something like that. i’m having lot’s of fun with this and i can’t wait for the fair. i’d like to ask our buddy adrian to join us full time, but i don’t know if he could or if he even would. it would rule to write some music with em. the great thing about it is that we don’t take it too seriously and aren’t out to get signed or anything. as long as we have fun and people enjoy it, that’s all that matters.

san jose was fun. was up there for a few days. wish i could of stayed a bit longer though. hopfully we can get our cousins down here for a little vacation. don’t really get to spend much time with them so that would be cool.

got the disneyland trip coming up in a few week followed by the vegas trip. damn i can’t wait for both of those to get here. got so much good stuff coming up soon and i want it to all be here now.

I’m getting old in a few weeks. So I’m going to Vegas with my bestest friends in the whole world, Jordan, Elvia and Spencer. July 13th-15th we’ll be in vegas. I’m gonna be coming back with a nice tan and a pocket full of money. See you all there bitches.

Here is an update with everything you need to know with what’s been up with Thee Corsairs. First off we are bummed to say that Von Scott will no longer be able to rock with Thee Corsairs. He’s just about to get a PHD, which means you got to call em Dr. Von Scott from now on, and looks like he’ll be leaving SoCal soon for a job. We wish him the best of luck with what ever comes his way and he’s always welcome to come back and rock with us any time. With the loss of Von Scott I have taken over the vocals for the time being. Don’t know if i’ll stay on vocals though. We’ll have to see how that goes. For the time being we got a good friend filling in on guitar to help us get through the 2 shows at the fair. His name is Adrian Demain and you may have seen him playing with former Stray Cat Lee Rocker, The Cheap Leis, Bill Watson, Golden Hill Ramblers and a bunch of others. It’s a true honor to have Adrian playing with us.

Speaking of the Fair, we will be playing twice in one week. First performance is on Tuesday June 28th on the Plaza Stage. We’ll be playing from 8:00pm till 10:00pm with a break in there somewhere. It’s the stage just outside of the grandstand over by the minerals and wood working displays. That night Donovan and Dick Dale will be on the Grandstand. The second performance is on Friday July 1st at the O’Brien Stage which is just inside the main gate. We’ll be playing from 9:30pm till 11:30pm with a break somewhere in there. That nigh comedian Bill Engvall is on the Grandstand. We got some nice little jems in the works for you at these shows since we got 2 hours to fill. Come on out if you wanna catch em cause i don’t know if we’ll be playing em ever again. Both shows are free with paid admission to the fair. The current price for the fair is $11 for adults and $5 for kids 6-12. There are always deals going around so check your local supermarket or the San Diego County Fair’s website for more info.

That’s about it for now. We’ll be updating more often since we’ll be playing more often now. Things might change a bit but we haven’t really figured out what’s gonna happen after the fair. We’ll probably write new songs and what not. Just keep an eye on our website for all the up to date info.

had a show last night. not the best i’ve ever played but still a good time. got some mixed reviews from friends there. ohh well, the rock can’t be stopped.

worked on a new lou’s mailing list format so that there is no longer java script in the page. that’s been causing the emails to get caught by spam filters and that sucks. once i’m done with it i think everyone will enjoy it.

haven’t really done anything the last few days really. i’m broke but that’s cause i had to finish paying off my trip to seattle. now that i’m getting paid more i can pay off some bills.

my 25th birthday is a month and a few days away. looks like i’ll be in vegas sitting by a pool for it. no better way to spend a birthday i don’t think. maybe going to disneyland but i’ll do that the week after.

ladies, i’m still single so you better act now. haha. i’m such a slut.

ain’t nothing to do tonight. heartaches are playing but i don’t really feel like going to the casbah and hanging out with all the “cool kids”. ohh well.
