So tonight is the big rock show with the Supersuckers @ the Casbah. really looking forward to that and still can’t believe some of the show’s we’ve been getting. I guess getting to open for the Reverend Horton Heat really helped us out.

Last week was the VAN STONE show. Man ohh man, if you missed it you’re bummed. It was probably the best show i’ve seen in a while and i see lot’s of shows. As you can see by my new profile photo i had a blast. I got to hang out with my friends, some of which i don’t get too see enough of, and just let loose. Randy Van Stone is such an inspiration cause he get’s all the chicks.

I just finnished writing a song i’ve been working for some time now. I’m pretty pleased with it. I’ve been working on this song off and on again since like 2004 or so. I kept walking away from it then feeling like i had to complete it. Hope the other guys like it so we can record it and put it out. Speaking of recording, if all goes well thee corsairs will be in the studio to record our new album durring the month of April. We’ll only be doing the Party Bus show so make sure you come see us either tonight, march 8th at brick by brick or march 18th at the Ken.

ps. i’m listening to the new Eagles Of Death Metal called “Death By Sexy” and it’s fucking sweet. There are a few of you ladies out there that can cause death by how sexy you are.

valentines day was spent working. ain’t nothing wrong with that. kept me busy and i like being busy cause your mind can’t wander.

today was pretty slow at work but it went by really quickly. went to a bar with a gal i have not talked to in a while. we went out on a “date” a little while back, thought it went well but wasn’t sure. was good to see her again. think we’re gonna hang out more often, at least i hope we do.

tomorrow is my day off and my only day off till next thursday. that’s the price i pay going to la for the weekend. the cool thing is jamie at work makes his own beer and he gave me a six pack of it. gonna have to have one or 2 while watching the US mens hockey team take on borat’s home county of Kazakhstan. hahahaha also going to work on some website stuff to make some money. i love being able to do that.

saturday is the Van Stone show. been looking forward to that for some time now. it’s gonna be a riot for sure.

so for all those who didn’t know, i went to LA this weekend for the Kings game. Drove up with my brother, elvia, spencer and erica early saturday morning. We got a room at the standard downtown. Checked into the room, made some really stiff drinks then went down to the staples center. It was kinda weird being there since i’ve only been there one time before and am only used to seeing it on tv. We got some really good seats right behind the kings net. hockey is great on tv but must be seen in person. makes the game that much better. we got all wasted on $10 beers and ate a bunch of nachos and hot dogs. kings won in overtime which was a good way to start the afternoon.

After the game we walked back to the standard and got a few more drinks. went to the roof top and chilled. that guy dave from mtv was up there with some of his friends. he’s the guy that lost to jesse camp for “who wants to be a vj” but ended up getting the job anyways. it was funny cause i said out loud to jordan “hey, it’s the guy from mtv.” and he heard me and gave me the “you better not come over here and bug me” look. haha. i wasn’t going to anyway dude, just chill.

took a little nap, met some friends in the hotel lobby then got our wristbands for the roof top party. it was full of hipster la folk and everyone was wasted. we drank $10 rum and cokes ate $15 mini hamburgers and just people watched. we all got up and danced on the small ass dance floor and if you know me and how i only dance when i’m wasted, that shows how wasted we were. it was a good evening for sure. i had a bunch of drunk girls asking me what all the buttons on my turbojugend jacket ment. asked me what the “penis flying to the moon” button was for. i’ll let you decide which one she was refering to. we went back to our room and as soon as my head hit the pillow i was passed out.

today we went to the getty center which if fucking rad. if you’ve never been there i suggest you go. it’s rad. take the tour that tells you all about the guy who designed the place and find out all the cool things about it. stuff you would never notice unless you go on that tour. the view from that place is crazy. you can see from the hollywood sign all the way to the pacific ocean. i’ll post some photos soon so you can see. if we had something like that in San Diego i would be there at least once a week just to relax.

was a good weekend with good people. looking forward to doing it again soon. maybe next time i’ll bring someone with me. then again, PARTY BUS!
