it’s sunday night and that means time for me to post another blog so i can remember what i did this week even though there isn’t really any exciting shit going on in my life now that i never go out.

Saturday:
Drove out to vegas. You already knew about that though. Had such a fucking good time that i had to write about it again. Kick ass show if i do say so myself. I love vegas and can’t wait to go back and rock that city once again. I love my band cause we all know how to have a good time and we really don’t give a fuck. as long as we have fun it shows and people have fun along with us.

Sunday:
drive home kinda sucked. we made it back in good time and made it back kinda early. let us have some time to shower and chill before hitting the sack. i think the best part about the drive home is i descovered my new favorite drink. it’s coca-cola blak. if you haven’t had it try it. you might think it sounds nasty but it’s not. it’s basically coca-cola with coffee in it. so damn good.

Monday:
returned the rental van then i had to go to work. work is getting really weird. i think we’re all going insane due to the fact that we’re short handed and nothing is being done about it. Jamie and myself are having to switch shifts and what not to make sure every night is covered. i think i closed every night this week with the exception of tuesday and thursday. thursday was my day off so that doesn’t really count. don’t get me wrong, i don’t mind closing, but it’s just getting crazy. having to multi task your muti tasking is kinda hard. it’s like everyone has ADD and me actuially having ADD, i never get anything done unless i write it down and check things off as i go.

Tuesday:
not bad. slow at work and pretty easy day. was going to dj but i was busy after work with website stuff. had to make sure i had all my stuff caught up from missing a few days due to vegas as well as get everything ready for me being gone for 5 days at the end of this week. i went and got the most killer hair cut after work. you should see me now. i’m all hot and shit.

Wednesday:
had to close again.was so damn hot at work too. don’t really remember much of this day. it’s all starting to blur.

Thursday:
day off… or was it? i spent all day working on the lou’s website and email. once the evening rolled around i decided i needed to enjoy some of my day off and relax. needless to say i ended up playing WOW for a few hours and having some pretty stiff drinks. i slepped so damn good that night.

Friday:
planned on waking up and doing some laundry and cleaning my room but spent it re doing the lou’s email and working on the website. yeah i got some money because of that, but i still didn’t get to enjoy my morning. had to work at 1:30 and the day went by pretty damn well. i don’t know if you ever go to the pannikin in encinitas at all, but the gals that work there are the best. it’s always a nice break in the day to go get a iced late and shoot the shit with them. On top of that i got the new pearl jam album. it fucking rules. that and a t-shirt promoting the album.

Saturday:
closed once again at work. the good thing, Pearl Jam listening party. We played the EPK and the new album all the way through. had a bunch of people from the ten club come by to check it out. was fun talking to a bunch of dedicated pearl jam fans about their experiences with the band and shows and such. again, big thanks goes out to petra, danielle and jane at the pannikin. they keep me awake almost every day with their fancy ass drinks.

Sunday:
i nearly snapped and went crazy today. not only was it a little busy but we got a bunch of stuff stolen from the store. i hate that more than anything. it’s one thing to rip off best buy or something like that cause they make their shit up so much and rip people off they deserve it. A mom and pop store can’t afford to have stuff stolen. if fuckers keep doing that the stores will go out of business and you’re fucked buddy. you’ll have to pay $20 for a cd that only costs like $3 to make. the stress at work is crazy some days and chill majority of the time. when i got home i fixed the lou’s podcast and got another list of songs together for my next one. i think i’ll post it next week on my way out to minneapolis.

that’s it for now. i know there is wrong spellings all over this thing but i could care less. you get the idea. this coming week i’ll be gone from wednsday till sunday. i’ll have internet access i do believe, but if not you’ll hear all about the trip.

So, this weekend was the much talked about PARTY BUS. At least that’s what we all thought. At like 1pm on friday i get a call saying the bus broke down and there was not a replacement bus for us. That left me like 4 hours to find another bus. That never happened cause all the bus companies were booked. Go to plan B, find a couple 15 seat passanger vans and drive everyone out there in a little less of a party bus environment. That didn’t happen either. Plan C, find any way to get the 2 bands out to vegas for the show. Got a mini van for Thee Corsairs, the Spots drove out in their truck and about half the people that were going to go on the bus decided to drive out there anyways.

Left oceanside at 5:30 saturday evening and pulled into vegas just before 10pm. Checked into our hotel room all the way on the other side of vegas. Took about 15 minutes to drive from the Double Down to our hotel. haha. Anyway, we head over to the double down and the place is packed. Reminds me a lot of the Zombie Loungs just a bit bigger, filled with smoke and slot machines. We played to a really good sized crowd and rocked as best we could. Jupiter Shifter, a band from Vegas, played before us. You need to check them out cause they fucking rule. After us was the spots and of course they ripped it up as well.

After the show we went to the Hard Rock for a bit. Saw a dude getting a hand job in one of the walkways to the parking garage. Guess at 5 in the morning anything WILL happen in Vegas. Drove around for a bit trying to find somewhere to eat then it just cape to the point where we had to hit the sack and get some sleep. On the way back to the room the sun was coming up. Weird seeing it go down then come back up again. Got about 4 hours sleep with no food and made a b line to circus circus for the breakfast buffet.

Played a little bit of craps then we got back in the van and made our way back to SD. such a good weekend. Had a blast and thank you to everyone who drove out there to see us. It’s much appreciated. The topper of the evening was i got to see Thee Corsairs name in lights in vegas. One more thing i can cross off my list of things to do in my life.

Monday:
work, work, work. Chuck was back at work after missing almost 2 weeks. Good to have em back but then he had his normal 2 days off. After work went to the zombie for a bit to pick up the last of the Party Bus money and then went home.

Tuesday:
Worked early. Was new release day which i think is my favorite day at work. Built To Spill and Eagles of Death Metal came out this week. EoDM kicked everyone’s ass which makes me a very happy guy. Went over to my mom’s after work to help her put together a cabinet she got. i get about half way done with it and notice they fucked up and sent us 2 of the same pieces but labeled them different. She had to call em for the 3rd time to get the correct pieces sent to her. pshhh… that company sucks. at least they are nice and just send em without any questions. After that i went to the Blvd to DJ. was a really weird night for sure and since it was spring break no one was there. I was home by like 12:30 when normally i’m not home till 3am.

Wednesday:
Was a pretty good day. The days seem to be flying by right now. Maybe it’s cause of the time change and by the time it’s dark it’s already time to go home where before i would have a few hours to go after it got dark. That and the fact we got party bus coming up. when ever i have something to look forward to the quicker things go. Ohh, and at the end of the day Chuck called. He said  all his symtoms were back and he would be out for a couple more days, but needed more meds. that boy need to get himself healthy which means no smoking.

Thursday:
Didn’t really do much. Just ran to the bank, finalized the plans for party bus, played WOW and just hung out and watched tv. Was cool cause EofDM were on Jay Lenno. It’s always good to see good music get recognized.

Friday:
Woke up early cause i had to go get fitted and order my suit for my brother’s wedding. It was raining that day which was really nice. I like rain. So i meet spencer at the place and we go in to talk to the guy. He was kind of an ass. Got all pissed off that there was an appointment on a friday and he had no info on us coming in. Guess the headquarters forgot to tell em we were coming in and he was taking his frustration out on us. Once jordan and elvia got there everything was cool. We got all measured up and then had to pay. Doh. Already broke and had to pay $130 for the suit rental. Ohh well, it’s well worth it. Wouldn’t you say? After than i went home and worked on the lou’s website for a few hours. Then of course, back onto WOW. hahaha

Saturday:
Saturday was a lot of fun. Work was really good bunch of folks working, customers were really nice and knew what they wanted. Jeff’s birthday was sunday but Lou wanted to get food then since we get free food for people’s birthdays. Jeff decided on In-n-Out. thank you jeff. Only thing that sucked was i had to go get it. Kristen went with me and it wasn’t as bad as i thought it would be. After getting off work i went home and it was decided that spencer and erica were gonna come over and we were going to go to Dao Son for dinner. I love that place. If you have not been there you need to go. Such good food. After dinner we had a WOW party and again everyone was on their computers running around killing stuff. Man we are fucking dorks, and proud of it.

Sunday:
We went down to Hilltop Park in Chula Vista to spend the day with Elvia’s family. It was a beautiful day with nice warm weather, a nice breeze and the best carne asada ever. It was nice to just sit out in the sun, get some fresh air and just chill. Of course that much fresh air makes you a little sleepy and i was out early last night. After the Sopranos i fell asleep on the couch, but was in bed at midnight. i woke up at 8 and and just chillin.

This week:
Zombie Monday, Turbo Tuesday, Rob Zombie of Friday then PARTY BUS… I’m a little scared about party bus.

Sunday April 2
uhhh… hmmmm…. worked and played world of warcraft. i think that’s all i did. i don’t really remember. I’m pretty sure that’s what i did though. ohhh, we are scientists play at lou’s. cool guys.

Monday April 3
worked. ivy got super pissed off at me. had lots of new releases to do cause it’s busy time of the year. spring is when we get the first big wave of crappy music coming out. hahah. went to zombie lounge cause i was djing. good times were had and at midnight we had drinks for wendy’s birthday.

Tuesday April 4
I got to sleep in on a tuesday which is not normal. I had to close at work again cause jamie is on vacation and chuck had off. I kinda like it that way. work went well and after i went to zombie again to collect the last few party bus money and to party with wendy on her birthday. didn’t stay out too late cause i wanted to get home and relax.

Wednesday April 5
nothing special that i can rememer. i just worked then wet home. to my surprise PDX was at my house and we were going to play WOW but the server was down. bummed me out cause i wanted to play again. we watched those old G.I Joe cartoons where the audio was overdubbed. funny ass shit. best is the new video i have on my profile. ohh how great cartoons are with overdubs.

Thursday April 6
spent a majority of the day working on the lou’s website. i uploaded a new black heart procession song. the new album is really good. go pick it up when it comes out. I was going to go to the isis show with danielle but i remembered that i was going to have an early morning and late night on friday so i just stayed home. went to bud’s for dinner. if you have not gone there i highly suggest it. really good cajun food. it’s down in little italy if you wanna check it out. right next to the waterfront bar.

Friday April 7
Worked a little on the Lou’s site then did my taxes. I owe like $550 for federal. i hate that. mom came down and we went to get our passports. that was pretty interesting getting the birth certificates and such. went home for a bit and played WOW. then we headed out to sycuan for a bit of gambeling and the Fab Forever Beatles tribute thing. It was pretty fun and they did a pretty good job, but they were kind of a bad band. They kept messing up and what not and the sound was crappy which was not their fault. But we had fun none the less. Played a little more poker after then went home.

Saturday April 8
Work was fucking crazy. only had 2 people on the floor the entire day with exception of when it got super busy. Had everyone call i sick so that kinda sucked. Day went by really fast though which was nice. Went home and worked on the Reverend’s website for a few hours. Changing some things around here and there. When Jordan and Elvia got home we watched last weeks Soprano’s since we missed it. Lot’s of good stuff going on there.

Sunday April 9
Chill day at work. got a full crew which we have not had in a while. It’s allowing me to get some shit done around here. Tonight i’m going to go home, have some beers and play WOW. Maybe do a little more to the Rev’s website, but yeah… chill night for me. I was supposed to go hang out with someone but i have yet to hear back from em. ohhh… Soprano’s tonight. hells yeah.
