Our foolish actions today will make our Grandkids’ lives a living hell.

When the leaves start changing, it gets darker earlier in the evening and there is a weird chill in the air you know there is one thing coming. And that is HOCKEY SEASON!!! I love this time of year cause you get a bunch of things, not just hockey. You get Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and all that good stuff. Since it’s always “perfect” weather in SoCal it’s nice to have things chill out a bit. Wish it would get colder and rain more this time of year is just doesn’t. The thing I love most is hockey though. You get one of the fastest most energetic sporting event around.

At the beginning of the season you get to see some of the young players the teams have in their “system” meaning you get to see what is to come in a few years. You get to know names of players that might not be playing in the NHL for a few more years if at all. But you get to see some pretty great talent before if blossoms. If your a Los Angeles Kings fan you also get Frozen Fury in Las Vegas. Jordan, Elvia and I went last year and it was a blast. We go to Vegas quite a bit, but I think we all agree that was our most exciting trip. And here it is the end of September and we’re going again. This time with Jase and Geri. I’m looking forward to the time sitting in the pool and hot tub. The dinner and drinks at both the Hofbräuhaus and Shibuya. The times spent at the craps table and late, late night hovering over the video poker. Most of all, I’m looking forward to the Kings game while wearing my Kings jersey. Of course most of the things we’ll be doing I’ll be in my jersey.

Jordan and i have been busting up over some videos on youtube for a while now. We both agree the video above is one of those WTF things that make you laugh no matter how many times you watch it. Here is another one.

Christmas was a pretty good one. Nice and relaxing. I had 3 days off in a row and i got to go back to work today. Good thing i only work 4 days and have another 3 days off. And to top that off New Years Eve will be spent at House Of Blues with the Reverend Horton Heat. Originally it was supposed to be Nashville Pussy, Hank III and RHH but Hank III had to cancel due to being super super sick so they added Lemmy from Motorhead to the bill. He’ll be doing a short set before the Rev and his backing band is going to be the Rev. It’s going to be amazing. I got an extra ticket to the show as well as full access to back stage and such. If anyone wants to go let me know. Only thing you got to do to get the ticket is buy me some drinks and make out with me at midnight. ahahahaha

Thee Corsairs have a bunch of shows coming up which is nice cause that’s what i like to do. Playing shows is fun and i just like playing music in general. I don’t know what i would do without music. It’s been such a big part of my life and has helped me through a lot of bullshit in my life.

I moved my room around and although i don’t have a huge open space in my room like i used to, i moved my bed away from the wall so that is nice. it now feels like a room rather than an office with a bed in it. Should sleep a little better cause i no longer have the windows right next to me and they let cold air in all the time. I’ll probably spend my next days off moving my cd racks around as well as all my frames and such.

That’s about it for now. ohhh yeah, vegas in january. soooooo can’t wait. will be my last big trip till i go to Minneapolis in October.
